The hype-medium fashion, super-self imposed is changing and repeating itself permanently and does not change its immanent structure of the precise balance of proportions, material and length.
Millimeters determine evolution and revolution. Whoever wants to unravel this needs time and a closer, critical look. The Cabinet shop therefore exists for the pleasure to dress the body with wearable perfection of seams, plays with volume and the freedom to choose color palettes and fabrics.
This introductory collection includes garments by Black Coffee, Clive Rundle, David West, Futureshockcollective, Guillotine and Suzaan Heyns.
In addition, these contemporary fashion studios will be complemented by a small section of international couture pieces from private garderobes.
The collection at Cabinet will change and evolve every two months under the direction of a different curator. For example, in April the Cabinet will be directed by journalist and editor Emma Jordan.
Cabinet shop is located at CO-OP, 68 Juta Street, Braamfontein. Phone 011 023 0336 or visit www.co-opjoburg.com
